Bluebird Self Storage - Whitby

I can tell you first hand that my experience here at Bluebird Storage is one that you are unlikely to find, not just in the business of storing belongings, but anywhere these days. Not only were my belongings stored in an exceptional manner,...my faith in humanity was re-stored. From my initial phone call to ask the staff if someone could stay a few minutes late (which I thought was going to be a definite no) so I wouldn't be stuck sleeping in a rental truck overnight for 2 extra days incurring who knows how much extra in fees to U-haul, I was completely blown away by not just the answer, but the genuinely positive attitude and cheerful voice of Lori who answered with an "absolutely, no problem, we got u". I was relieved and so thankful for what she did and at a time in my life I really just needed a friendly voice and someone to go the mile for me. And to sum it all up, that's what Bluebird Storage is to me, and I will forever be grateful to not just Lori, but all the staff. They are excellent and genuinely care about you and your belongings...simple. You would be a fool to go anywhere else...just saying. With the upmost respect and sincerity...Miriam Levey

I can’t say enough about Jackie and Laurie they are very very helpful and are willing to go the extra mile for you . The place is well organized and exceptionally clean. I highly recommend Bluebird Storage

I am giving the place a 1 star simply because the place is INFESTED WITH MICE and I mean badly infested (the indoor storage we were on 3rd floor). Mouse poop in all of my belongings and stored furniture. While I was there another person near by opened their locker and same as mine mouse poop in and on everything. Brutal. It was taking so long to disinfect things that I threw a bunch of it in the garbage. BEWARE! Feb/11/2024

Clean and professional place! I've rented at a bunch of different places but Bluebird is the absolute best. Also the coffee in the office is sweet

What originally attracted me to Bluebird self storage was it’s convenience of location and it’s affordable prices. What made me feel confident in signing on was cleanliness of the building, the convenience of dollys and carts provided to their customers, and the staff. I had the pleasure of dealing with Laurie for the duration of my rental here. I came in on a rather upsetting day of my life needing a locker, and Laurie was incredibly welcoming, recognized that I was a bit sensitive that day, and handled my rental with care. She was so kind to walk me to the lockers to get a visual of the size I needed, went above and beyond to find me the perfect locker for my needs, and was just an all around lovely lady to deal with and to chat too. She made me feel welcome and uplifted with her bright and friendly attitude. If I ever need a storage locker again, I won’t even consider going elsewhere. Thank you so much Laurie for all of your help over the last few months. I appreciate you, and Bluebird storage for making a difficult time in my life easier.
