SmartStop Self storage - Whitby

I recently rented a storage unit and was very pleased with the experience. The facility has excellent temperature control, keeping my belongings safe from extreme weather. The pricing is very reasonable, making it a great value. A special mention to Sonali, the manager, who was incredibly helpful and made the process smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommended!

Had a great experience setting up my account. My wife and I asked about seeing the space before committing and Alpha showed and explained everything to us. This dispite us coming right at closing time. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I'm very pleased.

I found the woman that I dealt with to be absolutely fabulous. She answered every question helped me with everything that I wasn’t sure of how to handle and was extremely pleasant and personable. I would highly recommend that if you’re looking for a storage place you look here first And last.

We rented a unit for 2 months during the sale of our home and it worked very well for us. We used the Whitby location which was close to our home which was very convenient. The main pluses were the price, easy access hours (not 7/24 nut more than we needed), lots of choices on unit size and easy to get in and out of the units. The only real negatives were there is only two bays to drive your car in and we found many times they were occupied so we had to load and or unload from the outside which wasn't terrible but it was winter so not as convenient. The only other negative was it didn't appear the bays, hallways and equipment were cleaned everyday. Nothing terrible but those two items were why I put a 4 rating versus 5. We did a compare with Dymon which had large bays and appeared a little cleaner but the price was considerably higher. I think SmartStop offers great value for the price so I do recommend if you are looking for storage.
